due to wantin to get everything perfect on the nova i had a look at the b sting airel other day and the seal round the bottem is ****ed as many are but looking on the net i can by a new airel or can get a new seal as any1 put new seal on are they any good? or worth buying a new one?:thumb:

Its sandwiched in by the tension in the bolt holding the aeriel on.

I'd buy a new one, if it doesnt seal, you risk rotting your roof out, or worse, staining the headlining with rust.

GM dealers will sell you a complete airiel base for £22, as you cant get the seal seperatly from them :(

It wont do, as it's the same as the original (Astra MK4) aerial base gasket.

Its going on a Corsa C, not a Nova.

I have a stubby airel anyway. A lot better then a 2ft long thing, an doesnt foul spoiler/roof rack no problems

at last got the airel sorted went to vauxhall asked how much and he said 35 plus vat:eek: i left really quick at that pointlol so today got my **** to the scrap yard and after looking at loads that were crap came across a minter off corsa b and when i went to pay for it was 3 ****ing quid. so **** you vauxhall lol
