I offerd Spal slimline fans to people on PNG a few months back hardly had any takers... Tom Reid and Prey I think were the only people who bought them... Tom did have 6 lol. for about £40 each.
They look very similar to above

^cool! i think ill have to purchasing one:)
Yes, they are the same as the ones that are on mine. Fast, quiet and really move the air well.
Lmf, ring up, say what you want, pay, 2days later it will be on your door step, be very happy with the service.

Well i have know ordered the fan:) simply because i couldnt be bothered cutting around the mk4 astra fan i havelol and there brand new!
I have replied to LMF's email to see what the crack is? so should be more in the know tomorrow..
With just a Xe fitted, you'd only have to try the housing down a bit to get a Mk4Astra fan on.
The Astra fan is much better than the slim line fans as it have much more power and surface area to push the air about.
Get it on a flat surface and it will start to lift its self off..lol
Would cool my rad from half to 1/4 with in 10sec of being on... Would dim all the lights when it came on..lol

Up until recently, I was running a 1.2 rad and 1.2 fan and never had a problem... The coupe of times it got hot sitting m25 traffic in teh summer the fan lowered it straight away!
I wouldn't have changed the 1.2 fan, but having the Spal one front mount has free'd up soem much space infront of the gearbox and manifold.
I fitted my fan on the front just so it was hidden...lol
yes i have bought 1 of the above fans and mounted it on the front.
much better, neater and quieter.

I run 2 7", due to lack of space, works very well tho.

with or without oil cooler?
Without. But even with one just place it right and you'll get twins on there. I wouldn't wanna run a small single fan by its self.
i remember looking at dars.
think the look of of twin fans on the outside pushing the air in looks really cool too, plus practicle obviously
You know it!
