As i have sold my corsa shell ( when this engine is out of it) the lump is for sale.
fully rebuilt 8k ago
1600 block, refaced, over bored ,honed etc, new oversize pistons, reground crank,all new bearings,ARP rod bolts, new water and oil pumps,lightened flywheel, ported and polished head, kent fast road/rally cam,vernier pulley, all new gaskets and clutch when rebuilt,match ported inlet manifold, modified airbox with KnN panel.
bolted up to an f15 box, comes complete with loom and ecu
Im sure theres more
complete engine and box with all ancillaries ( no exhaust manifold) and loom ecu etc all hoses rad etc take what you want if its under the bonnet.
The tappets take a while to pump up but i have a brand new set in the garage that i will give with the engine along with a brand new unused Dbilas cam for the same engine
£300 all in
Engine is still fitted to the car so you can hear it running and drive it first if you like then ill take it straight out.

Does that mean theres a bit of a tappet noise when cold? How hard is it to change them?

yes mate bit the tappets rattle a bit until they pump up, not a big job and even easier with the engine out i spose
