de badging sunstrip if it suits ur car little thing have good affects how much u got to spend??
Not much. how do you de badge the nova?
thanks for your help.
debadging is old hat nowadays. leave bryphons on and remove the nova and engine sizes (depends on wot it is mind).
Best mod is to give the car a ruddy good clean up and polish. Clean interior too.
You can get a set of decent alloys for under ?100 on ebay for novas nowadays, suspension will set you back under ?200 for 60mm drop on full kit.
DColour coding (if you know how to use spray cans) can work well on wing mirrors, bumpers (again you need to know what your doing).
Remove side strips, change the side indicator ones to ovals, add a spoiler (?50 tops), bee sting ariel (?30 tops all in), decent speakers etc...
Wots the budget...
And if "cheap" wots "cheap".
How do you want the car to look, feel, bahave.

When he says cheap he probably means he has no money to spend on it just wants to change the look a bit. I would go with a good clean and polish inside and out, de-badge and take of the bumper strips. Have a look at other posts to find out how to do de-badge and de bumper strip, there are plenty of them

Drill holes in your air box(dust bin lid) to get an inductional noise for nothing!
To do this drill big holes in the SIDES of the air box. Not on top of it...

I did that to my filter the other day. I took the big thingy that goes to the front of the car with the hot air dooberry off and drilled 3 holes in between each clip. Hasn't made any difference at all at the min. I might have to do bigger holes. Then again my carb isn't set up propperly but i am changing it all this weekend.
I thought it was worth a try cos i have two airboxes! Sorry for the lame words i am a little tiddled.
yeah i know where your comin from im in the same sort of situation.
So far i have de-badged my car,
got some alloys,
astra gte steering wheel (although its not fitted yet!)
corsa stalks and removed the plastic strips from along the side. This has all cost me nothing.
I got the alloys and steering wheel from a mate who was braking an astra gte. I pocketed the corsa stalks from the scrappy.
De-badging is well easy just pour hot water on the badges and pick them off with your finger nails. then t-cut the area to get rid of any glue left!
If you have a standard steering wheel you can remove the vauxhall badge from the middle and theres a opel badge that looks alot better.
OK i've debaged, got alloys, got a K&N bolt on filter. got it lowered, costom made front grill. what next???????????????
Preferably somethin that doesn't cost too much money.

rub down the bumper till there is no speckles in it and spray it the colour of your car.

Ive done same a u guys, another suggestion is to change interior bulbs, get green ones (bulb 256G frpm halfords), Also, the courtesy light in roof can be removed and just using a marker pen (purple one), i colourd in the inside of the plastic panel and now it makes the car glow purple. Erm, that about all i can think of atm for cheap mods... Oh yeah, DIY single wiper conversion, im doin it this weekend.. all u need ta do is find a welder to quickly od the welding for ya, shud cost bout 5quid.... any onther ideas guys????
ok i've got around ?200 together. what should i do with it? what mod would be best. can you take a look at my car and tell me what you think.
cheers

clear indicators are always for sale on e-bay. abotu ?5 - 10. you could use a gte grille and mesh it. You can get fox grilles out of the vauxhall mags and fast car adverts etc etc.
