Hey there,

Been searching for insurance for my nova 1.2i,

Got a qoute from directline which stood at £2500,

Then another qoute which was £1950,

The cheapest and realistic qoute was one i got from Kwikfit which was £1400,

All the qoutes that i enquired about was for 3rd party only.

Does anyone know any cheap insurance companies that wont burn a BIG hole in my pocket ?

Cheers

Unfortunately at 18, especially if it's your first car, you are going to get raped for insurance. Naming older experienced family members on the policy as NAMED drivers) can help to drag it down a bit.

I did pass-plus after I passed my test which more than paid for itself (and I got an afternoon/evening out in Blackpool with my hot driving instructor lol )

also try fully comp too as on occasion its cheaper since lots of yooooofs dont go for it so the claim stats look better and therefore less loaded.

quinn direct are not good for young drivers myself and lots of other all had problems jus read some threads on here for more proof. i went with admiral o matter what car i had they put the best price forward, they also do a 10 month accelarator which gives you a years no claims. best thing to do is ring up mate
