Looks gay IMO but saying that the MK6 Astra (normal models) look not too bad on the road so I might be converted when I see a proper one

Study the photo, thats not the new Astra VXR, it barely even looks like a new Astra. It's a photoshop using the current VXR corsa and Astra. Autoexpress have a habit of doing this.

There isnt even any pics of the 3 door mk6 yet.

I'm glad someone said it :thumb: They almost never have pictures of cars ahead of actual press release so they always do naff photoshops.

Unless something is changed overnight that im not aware of no details are confirmed yet for the new VXR but I am told by someone in the know that the auto express pictures are not a million miles off how it will look, the pics arent exact!

i dont think its a bad car, there is no 3 door sri pics never mind one of a vxr which will have a different kit altogether! i'm fairly sure when its seen on the road a hell of a lot mpre people will change their minds!
Never believe auto express, they have said alsorts of cars are coming out and they never have!!

and as krobinson says AE have a habit of doing this, doesn't look like a Astra J and it's got a Corsa VXR a*se and wheels!

Well I'm glad I read in a bit further, because it does look dreadfull, like the spawn of a seedy affair between an Insignia & the chav-tastic Corsa VXR, probably with a sprinkling of Ripspeed vouchers for lube.

The mk6 SRi turbo's I've seen are pretty nice & I didnt notice the A pillar windows, so I can see how it might be a concept from outside Vauxhall.
How long in the tooth is Arden Blue becoming aswell?

Probably not a lot, remember VAG have the 1.8T which comes in 225bhp flavour. Don't think that runs excessive boost.
