Hi

I have just swapped my 1.2 carb 4 speed engine for a 1.4sr 5 speed, i have connected up the alternator and starter fine no problem, im having trouble connecting up some wires, i have 2 wires a positive and (a negaitive i presume), which came off of a switch which is located just below the clutch arm. Is this the reverse light switch, if so thats fine, because i have a euro light, therefor no reverse light.

Also is the oil pressure switch meant to have 2 pins comming out of it on a 1.4.

One more question i am missing a metal spring clip that goes on the distibutor cap, it a about 3 inches long and clips the dizzy cap to the dizzy, im sure most of you know it. Where can i get one of these clips from?

These are all my niggles with my engine swap. I hope!

Thanks

Cool thanks, No need to connect that up then.

I don't steal. Never though of using one of them. I was going to make one but the steel need to be pretty springy.

Also the oil pressure switch pins? is there meant to be 2

theres a two pin and a single pin

single pin is just for the light on the dash

the other pin will be for the gauge in gsi/gte clocks

just rob the oil pressure switch off the 1.2
