Ohh noo, not another 5 stud enquiry by me.lol

Has anybody tried to fit smallblock 5 stud zafira hubs to a nova ?

or is there any reason why this wouldnt work.

Would you not be best phoning vauxhall and trying to find out the measurements of the hub an thing then try to compare it with the ones from a nova? As in the bit that sits in in bearing if vaux can give you a figure you could work from that?.

there is a group buy i think for small block inners, and large block outers, so you cna 5 stud

Still might be cheaper doing it this way, the zafira comes with 5 stud rear drums, and 5 stud front hubs, all smallblock, so im thinking it should just be straight swap

Thanks, still if i bought those id be stuck for 5 stud on the back.

Im gonna have to go on a scrapyard search and find a zafira i think.

If you can get the zaffy bits cheap lewi id say give it a go mate no harm in trying is there.

Yeah, if i manage to find a zafira ill buy all the crap off the front, and the rear drum, and ill try each on the nova first, if they fit ill buy the other side, if they dont, well it was worth a try.

When you get the drum tho lewi get everything including the hub and backplate you never know it may bolt straight up.

It may be mate it may push more small blockers to 5stud theres if its easy done.

the zafira stuff is just astra anyway, so it will most likely be 'big block' size

there 'is' a 5 stud small block cv hub for a zefira but i have no idea which one it is lol

Been to one scrappy so far, no zafiras :(

no, there isn't enough metal in a nova drum to take rethreading......

Yeah i was also thinking it would be the 1.6 model.

I've just got some rear hubs, drums etc for my cav, hoping they fit lol. They were from a vectra B 1.6 16v i.e the same as the zaf.
