Just wanted to know what would make my 20xe overfuel, it doesnt seem to rev up as quick as it should and i took the plugs out and they were black. Does the coolant temp sensor control the mixture on this engine?

Cheers

Is it a dizzy engine? Got the right injectors and fpr fitted?

The plugs are black and it pops on idle occasionally, i had a look at the FPR and it doesnt look damaged and the vacuum pipes are'nt split. I havnt driven it yet still waiting for the big hubs to arrive :(

How bad is overfueling? if you get lots of black smoke out of the exhaust it could be the TPS

it doesnt smoke just occasionally pops out the back might jus leave it and see if it sorts itself out lol

I wouldn't worry then, wait till you take it for a drive and see what its like then, only worry when you get plumes of black smoke and it struggles to start lol

or it could need the TPS sensor adjusting slightly, but again, wait till you've taken it for a drive first

Id be inclined to leave it till you have shafts in and run it then see how it is.
