right, i want to know if any other vauxhalls had the same distributer as the nova gte. 3 pin plug, no vacuum. reason being that mines Fekd and im going to the scrapyard to see if i can find one. nova gtes being rare its unlikely il see one unless they were used on something else like cavs, corsa, astra etc. part number is .0237 506 012. any information is appreciated.
Thanks. Joe.

Edit: Ebay is no use for this part as far as i can see.

its just not working. im getting power from coil to dizzy cap but not getting a spark through the plugs. tried new leads, cap, roter armand plugs. trouble shooting tells us its distributer. plus it was misfiring and distributer went pop.

edit: not being run for about 2 years threw it out i think.

Make a ''wanted'' thread in the ''wanted'' section of the forum.
Sure a guy called colin smith will have a reply for you within the next 1 hour if no one else does.

If that has a red dizzy cap then I've probably got one. I'll check part numbers tomorrow and get back to you.

Not wanting to do myself out of a sale, but have you checked that the little graphite pin in the centre of the dizzy cap is still there? These fall out dead easy as they are spring loaded, and that would stop the spark getting any further than the dizzy.
