1.4spi engine

i got a single point injection engine 1.4 in my nova and was just wonderin if i could put a webber carb on it instead with out any hasle.and has it got a ecu with spi

I beleive its a lot of work, Your have to change a fair few bits including the fuel tank.

Firstly yea you could put a carb on it but you would have to change the tank, cylinder head cam carrier, dissy, coil and loom.

Secondly yes the engine will have an ecu its under the glovebox.

Is there any reason you want to chang to a carb as the setup you have now is alot more reliable an you wont see much more power in swapping it over?

^^^ I set mine on fire while seamwelding the engine bay, the wires to the ecu had to be cut because it was a melted mess lol
