Whats the history behind these.
Why are they so rare and sought after ? i fancy one myself.
Hand made years back AFAIK.
Thats why they are so rare!
I also think they are highly sort after due to being the only brace that is tailored for a big block and dont look like a small block one fitted back to front

i bought a cage a few months back for 150 on gay bay bloke didnt realise it was a fearless one just listed as show cage swaped it with phil for my new wheels so he can have 2 yellow pegs lol
Would be interesting to know, seems the braces are more desirable than the cages though

Fealess on here (Dave France) i had a fearless cage and rear brace in my old nova (now in nick j's old car). It originally belonged to Andy Hill, and was, i beleive one of the first one's they did. (dave, please correct me if i'm wrong!)
Iirc they were made mid to late 90's?

A Fearless rear brace was one of the items stolen out my Nova.
Anyone who bought one, with a nasty gash out the metal, and a white Regal sticker on it has a peice of my famous car :) (gash was caused by emergency braking with a 106 GTi block in the boot)

I bought the front strut brace new in around 2002 but got tired of the blingy look so did it black.

Never been a fan of the cages though. Prefer a cage that would help you if you were to have an off in the car.

The fearless cages do look the business even though they have been around for years. The weld quality on the cage and braces is exceptional. Just keep an eye out on ebay and the forums for the braces. Ive had four front ones go through my hands in as many years! They do cause a bit of an issue with std top mounts which is why most use eccentric top mounts etc. The threads on std top mounts arent long enough to go through the brace safely unless you countersink around the bolt holes like I had done on my last one. Most have to file the bolt holes too for fitment. But they still look the best brace available by far. Pic below was my last car fitted with the cage that came from Johns blue one!

There are two types of rear brace that 'Fearless' did.
If your wanting to run belts wrapped around i would try to find one like below, but possibly even rarer!
It was Brett Warburton that had more to do with cages & braces than Dave did.
He may know where to get thm done though as that was a closely guarded secret!!

Yeah, it was fitted by Fearless's own hands as well!
It was I who tried to get a group buy on these a couple of years ago because I know the guy who originally made them but I needed 20 orders and they were £140 for the front braces. We had 12 deposits at one point but I pulled it due to the personal risk on the outlay, ie I had to put over £2000 of my ownmoney in, and too many 'yeah I'll have one' became 'i'll let you know'
