I've never seen the point of it, intake charge heater :wtf: mine is blocked off and the hose that runs into it just hits a dead end, I need to look into blocking that off further down while the engine is out actually. It's not like it would even be for cold starts as the stat wouldn't be open and coolant would be cold when you're starting it!

I've never worked it out tbh, mine was entirely plumbed up with no loose ends so I can only assume I was missing a T piece somewhere, most sensible place for it to would be either the solid coolant pipe on the back of the block or the nearest heater matrix hose, which would be the O/S I think.
