From what i can see so far the front bumper bracket goes inside the car, i've tried to undo the bolt that seems to be connecting it up but it just seems to keep turning - plus loads of rust fell into my eye so i gave up shortly after lol Is there a easier way or a bolt on the other side maybe?

no into the bumper bars mate,

Ahh i'll thinking maybe the bolts went through the bumper bar and bolted on the other side but thats cleared everything up, cheers mate :thumb:

nope take out the 4 bolts and both end caps and it should slide out, if you cant get the bolts undone you can grind the heads of them and pull the bumper off then tap the threads back in, thats last resort stuff.

speedo swimming goggles ftw, dont worry about the rust, its probably from the chassis legs, the bumper will be fine lol lol

I swapped my two piece front bumper for the one piece front bumper but now i have the problem with having no fixings for where the top of the bumper fits onto the slam panel.

Front panel should have holes from the last grill, if not drill a small pilot hole than bolt in 10mm self tapers, with maybe speed clips underneath, make sure it's all lined up nice before drilling.

Yeah the old bumper had the clips that come over the top of the panel but the one piece bumper is at the front. There are holes in the front panel that line up with the holes on the one piece bumper but the holes are quite big and square lol

Oh aye you got plastic clips that go in the squares then you screw into them, it's been years since I last saw that set up.

Just been told the clips on the rear number plate are the same as the one's needed to fit the one piece front bumper so i just went outside and its all fitted now :)

looking good mate, id be tempted to respray the lower part of the front panel, just to give it a nice fresh look:thumb:

Oh, pop the grille off, look down on the inside of the bumper, you'll see where the brackets meet the metal bar, you can under bolt them from there. Its 2x13mms. Then there are 2x10mms on each end in the arch.

Takes 10mins.
