ive been looking at some bike carbs and manifold ready to bolt on but they have come of an 1.6 and are going to go on a 1.4 sr engine ?

nope! sr has square ports for inlet 1.6 are roung iirc

I got told yes a manifold for a 1400 is the same shape as a 1600 as my mate was looking into buying some not too long back:thumb:

I think you are right spud. i was told it was round because i was looking for a manifold too.

ok mabey i am right, look on ebay there is a 1.6 head on there which has round inlet ports, also one with square ports, they come with both. So best to check what sort of ports the manifold has. You might be lucky.

Fit a c14se head for an instant 4-8bhp gain, and then fit the carbs

C/E16 difference... and no motor factors in the country ever gets them right for gaskets lol

I have a spare c14se head. That it will bolt straight to and as said little bit more power because of the bigger valves.

i just want to put the carbs on not mess aorund takin the heads off etc... cheers any ways pal :thumb:
