Cav sri brakes on nova

got a set of cav sri brakes on my gsi nova but not sure if the calipers are on the right side or not. the brakes seem to be working but someone has told me that the bleeding niple should be pointing towards the ground but i,ve got them on with the nipple pointing up. The guy who told me tends to talk shit sometimes so can anyone tell me for sure?
