Tie bar bracket bolts?

The long bolts that hold the brackets on to the front panel..
What's the tensile strength of them? I seem to have a 8.8 and a 10.9.. Which is right?

Personally I would put the stronger bolt in, I'm suprised you havent bought new ones Benn, 15-20 years of stress on a bolt is a lot...

I have, but the two that where used one was 8.8 and one 10.9 so wanted to check which was right, i'll bang 10.9s in then..

Yeh, Id deffo stick 10.9s in with turbo power Benn, I think I've got 12.2 in there on mine..

note 12.2's are more brittle than 10.9/8.8's


imho I'd rather have 10.9's as they will bend and not break
