Kind of takes the piss really, as our halfords shut there garage department a few years back as it made no money, they only do dents/scratches etc.. lol now there buying into garage repairs again..

why shut all the garages then buy garages, proves people in charge of halfords are just as clued up as the numptys they employ on the shop floor, most have no idea what a joke

Shutting/selling garages provided an influx of cash at the time they needed it; now instead of the expense rebuilding them they just bought out an existing chain with an existing customer base and at the same time minimised competition. Makes sense really.

Nationwide didn't know much to begin with. They fitted a large wheel weight to my NSF wheel which was bashing the strut, and wondered what the noise was :roll:

I wouldnt use either establishment tbh. So have no interest in their buyout, other than is my trade card still valid? Yes I'm sure it is.
