ok got my mbe for my let and im after a base map for a standard let or tunned not fussed just need a base map to start from

its a 941 anybody using this got a map they can copy and send me or know where i can download a base map without having to pay sbd the price of a 3bedroom house to rip me off?

any help would be great even if its for bodys its a start and it can be adapted just need something to start with

I did have a few mbe maps on my old pc, think they were all NA tho.
Is the ecu 2nd hand? Model 941 sounds quite a few years old so may not work with some of the newer ecu maps

My 967e is considered vintage! lol

I was warned off anything older than a 965 for my other XE, as the software is so out of date, its obsolete!!

I wouldnt be suprised if 941 is none live mappable, i think they used to just have to upload maps to the eprom chip or something like that?

nope its fully mapable and uses the d plugs and mapping boxes ect same as the newer ones also runs on easy map 5.5 its only as old as the chips and software thats loaded

its been brought uptodate been in contact with sbd gave them the model and serial numbers and they said they can put a base map on it for £100 and im not paying that.

all works fine ect had it all pluged in ect all all is good just need a base map i am thinking about changing to omex though as there seems to be a massive lack in decent tunners that can map mbe well

Have you seen Go-Tech's Dealertune software!?? If not have a look at that lol
