View Full Version : Cav Sri seats - will they fit?

Am thinking about putting the seats from a Cavalier SRi into the Nova - I need to know if they'll need any modification to fit.

Any info gratefully received,

you need to put the nova base on the fronts and i choped chunks out the steel base on mine to fit rears

They also won't recline without modifications

How so? What mods would I need to make?

they do tilt forward but you need to remove the side locking bracket and fit the side handle and cable.

if you pop of the side caps on both sides all will be clear.

Thanks very much, Brains and Graeme. Have decided to scrap the Cav and use bits off it on the new Nova and for rebuilding my old Cav. Was going to sell the interior but thought the seats may be an improvement on the Nova's little ****-holders.

get a breaking / for sale thread up, might be interested in a few bits depending whats on it :)

if you remove the adjusting handles from the side, theres two little clips, pop them off and the back of the seat becomes detached from the seat base :)

I don't mean to hijact the thread but i thought i would ask the question in this rather than making a new one. Would Mark2 Astra seats fit in a Nova as well?
