I picked this up for ?750, paint is a little faded but nothing a good t-cut and a couple of coats of polish won't sort out :)

Only mods are the delocking and the alloys, which will soon be replaced.

The batteries were running out on my camera, but will get some more tomorrow.

What do you reckon?

What condition is the engine in? ?750 seems like a good price, but make sure the engine's not on it's last legs :|

The car was in the paper for ?1000ono, i was pretty suprised when i offered him ?750 cash and he accepted!

The engines done 114k, but runs well and has just had the head gasket done.

There isn't really any rust on it at all, a tiny patch on the slam panel, none on the rear arches and slight bubbling on the boot floor.

Wheels are up next :)

even if the engine is on it's last legs, you can pick up a decent GSI engine for under ?100 now and they aren't much hassle to change.

looks like you got a good car there.

looks like a nice straight model, ?750 is a fair price. Not the cheapest but definately not the dearest. All depends on distance as well etc.

As JK said with the engine, i have a couple of good GSi/GTE engines at the moment if it does go wrong.

Very tidy. What you gonna do to it? Modding it or keep it standard?

fings i would do: laguna spitter, lower 60-70mm, take off NOVA sticker from doors, clear or no side repeaters, powerflow exhaust, clear rears and alessio 2's. phat gsi.

I do have a few plans for it, i was going to get some Speedline Alessios, and have them done in Rover Hurricane Grey, along with the sideskirts. Then drop it about 60mm, and possibly an XE of some description in the summer.

Oh, and take off the door stickers aswell :)

Nice to see another red GSi owner  I picked mine up a couple of months ago for ?700. Funnily enough it was up for ?1000 aswell. I knocked him down due to a few faults which are now sorted.

Looking cool, keep us updated.
