I have inherited my late Fathers Nova.

It is an A reg 1984 1200 3 door hatchback.

It has been sat in the garage for well over 15 years during which time, it has neither been touched or even sat in.

It has done approx 7k miles since my father bought new.

I did consider restoring it but I really lack the interest in it.

What would you consider a sensible price at which to offer it for sale?

Thanks Roger

welcome to png.

i'd suggest placing it on ebay with a start of about £1500. i think it will sell for a lot more than that

I'm less inclined to go with the above, it depends on the condition, of course if its in the condition we're led to believe from the 7K and untouched for 15 years, then i definately agree, if its got bits falling off it and is just a rusty shell due to damp then significantly less

I too am looking forward to seeing photos though:thumb:

If i remember correctly didn't a 27K mk2 nova come up for around £1500 just the other month?

i got mine for £700 in 2000 with less than 8k on it, but it had been run regularly & nova's just weren't worth great money in those days

Sorry to here about your father...
As said people on here could give you a better valuation of the nova when you can post pics when you reach 15+ posts.

Havn't you thought of maybe keeping it and making it completly mint and standard and bringing it to shows to keep another connection with your father....
Just a thought.

Welcom BTW.

Thanks for the advice everyone.
I will have to see if I can get it out of the garage to take some pics....I would need a real wide-angle lens to snap it in the garage.

I,m located 10k south of Gloucester.

You certainly wouldn't have a problem selling i would think especially because its such an early car and the low mileage. Sounds like a bit of a time warp lol
