is there any difference is mk1 and mk2 1.2 calipers ??if soo could mk2 1.2 calipers be fitted to a mk1 1.2 with no alterations ??thanks

some are, some arent. generally 1992 onwards is ATE calipers, and before that is Delco rubbish

Yes. all the old school FWD calipers bolt on & off between different cars. Hence Astra 16v & Vectra V6 stuff is used easily on Novas.
