im due an oil change on the nova its a 2.0 8v c20seh been cammed and few other little bits, after some decent oil
any one know any good oil which they would recommend?
and where can get it from?

any old 10-40w will do that old old beast

chip oil???? thats what baxter uses....

use a decent quality 10w40 like burgo says

cant beat a bit of 10w40 think a how to thread needs to be started with all vauxhall engines and the oil grades because this comes up soooo much about oiling needs

I just use halfords 10w40 semi synth, get it on trade peices & change every 4k. Tipping away Mobil 1 @ 4k would make no sense.

My rule is change it out before it goes black.

WTF oil did you put in!!!!! more to the point HOW MUCH went in lol.

even their most expensive mobil crap is about £60 pre card.




imho for all N/A vaux engines 10W40 semi synth is fine, fully synth if you abuse it a bit harder
tubbies might prefer a 10/50ish style of FS.
