C14SE head on C16SE block

Is this possible? Today I found out the head I'm putting on mine is from a C14SE. I've done a fair bit of googling and it's not very clear, but I'm fairly certain the compression will be too high and cause pinking. So my question is really, is it possible to lower the compression with a thick head gasket or spacer to bring the compression back down? Cheers.

No not really, you'll mess up the cam timing, get a 1600 head. Usually some on here or the bay.

its not mine but i just sold a guy a gsi engine who's got a nasty bottom end rattle im sure he could help
