Im buyin som 15" phantom alloys on wkend

They have a 195 tyre on them and an offset of 50

will i need arch mods as i think mk1s may only hold a 185 tyre without scrubbing


and

im sprayin my bumpers nxt week... any tips?

You may have problems. is your car lowered?

and take your time over them. makes a huge difference.

wheels should fit,

and make sure bumpers and really clean and smooth. use a decent primer.

With an offset of 50 you might struggle. I have got et45 with 195 tyres and the arches still had to be done! But before that i had astra wheels with 185 tyres and they were fine.

Put them on and see if it rubs when you bounce on the car! If it does take them off and get your arches done etc.

My a car isnt lowered and i need to know if they will fit and if not what wil i need to do to the arches

If they dont fit they will be either too far out into the wheel arch or too far in and will catch on your rear dampers. If they hit the dampers then just get some other wheels.

I think that going from standard vauxhall 45 offset to 50 will bring them futher out towards the arch and if they scuff you may need to get the lips rolled up and if they still catch flaired out a bit. Standard practice when putting big alloys on really.
