Not Nova, Corsa b c20xe driveshaft issue

Right ive been using standard corsa driveshafts on cav 1.6 inner cvs and i put it all together and the long drive shaft is just spinning round in the inner cv, on closer inspection the driveshaft has more than 22 splines on it, its a 1.4 sport driveshaft. Can anyone shed any light on this, do i need 1.6 driveshafts?

Pretty sure only only the 1.6 sport shafts are 22 spline, the 1.4 sport ones are 28 spline I think.

Just got the cv off the short driveshaft and somehow ive managed to get a 28 spline shaft into a 22 spline inner cv lol so thats a cv written off :( think I'm going to just buy some big hubs for the big block shafts ive got and be done with it lol

what about the smaller shaft then, is that the same problem lol

I thought the smaller shaft was ok but after counting the splines on the o/s shaft and the inner cv i thought i best check it lol so yeh big hubs needed.
