Hi, I have a G-Reg GTE which I have just taken the engine out off, I have a 1992 GSi Engine (Bosch L-Jetronic) ready to take its place. Problem is I've noticed a few differences with the looms. The GSi has an Octane plug whereas the GTE doesn't and the Dizzy caps are different (The GTE has a cable coming off the top and the GSi doesn't. Can I still marry this GSi Engine up to the GTE loom? I don't want to swop the GSi loom into the GTE as I need it for something else.

Cheers

Any information would be appreciated.

they should both have octane plugs iirc

as long as u keep the ECu with the Loom it will be fine
