Boot light...

My boot light seems to randomly work sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. What should i check? J

Check that the switch in the boot isn't sticking. Then check that there are no loose connections like the bulb and all wires to it then check that the earth isn't loose. Then if it isn't any of them scratch your head and come back! :D

thge switch is about 1/2 way up the side of the boot on the left - black sticky out switch. Probably a bad earth

from memory the earth is just under the plastic cover unfortunately

chances are a dead bulb or totally knackered switch if its dead dead!

I will have a look when it bothers me. There is more inportant work to do first!

make sure that theres plenty of slack on the wire between the switch and the bulb. my bulb holder had been put in upside down so the wire was tight, stopping the switch popping out far enough to turn the light on. :roll:

i had exactly the same problem! it's the black switch half way up the side of the boot, mine got stuck in sometimes, big of oil, WD40 or summit sorted mine out.
