Hi,
Just planted my 1.4 sr in and have a mix match of pipes and parts, just wanted to flush all the pipes and rad through, is it just a simple case of stick a hose into the inlet water pipe (Metal pipe attchached to gearbox) and watch it come out of bottom rad pipe.
Thanks
Nath

Yes, but you could get better results with the thermostat out & likewise the water pump removed too, just to give full flow about the block/head etc.

when i flush and engine i usaly remove top and bottom hoses and stick a hose pipe in there with the engine running
a good idea is to remove both pipes from the heater matrix and give that a flush its surprising how much crap they can hold
and i usaly remove the rad to flush it
dont forget to reverse flush

dont forget to reverse flush eh?
Force water through the other way.
i.e. do it from rad bottom hose out the thermostat hole
And then thermostat hole to the bottom hose
