1.3 clutch differences

I need to order a clutch for my 1.3 SR engine and they are listed separately for -86 and 86 on. I dont know the age of my engine so are there any physical differences between the two types?

I thought all the small blocks with an F10 were the same, other other thing I could of is that in 85 at some point, lots of parts went metric.....

i dont know, might just order one and hope for the best. cant see there being much difference between the metric and imperial sizes used if that is a factor

I wouldnt imagine it is a factor on a clutch, but I'm saying changes were made to the cars spec. See if anyone else adds anything.

what other changes though? is there anyway of identifying the engine and gearbox age?

order them both,take yours off and fit the one thats the same.Return the wrong one.

cash is a bit short at minute, off work for 10 weeks on SSP so was just hoping to get the few bits i needed bought ready to fit when i can work on car again. Thanks everyone for your help though :)
