i got up pretty early this morning to get everything prepared.......
sorting out sand, cement, paving slabs, gravel........
spent the day laying paving slabs at a job down the road, just got home now and shes gone to work....BONUS lol
Hahaha, good man, valentines is a load of shoite imo, (yes im single but why does that matter, its not a birthday, christmas or holiday so it means sod all) i valeted me dads Jazz, got paid for it too which i wasnt expecting, £20 in the veccy and a case of fosters, now im proceeding through said case of fosters and have just had almost a full bottle of stowells rose with me tea too, good day imo:thumb:

you know you work too much when you dont even know the fcuking date!!
I went into work on an overtime shift. £19 an hour is too good an opportunity to miss. I think the other half went to a pikey car jumble boot sale and then had some tea and biscuits. oh the exciting lives we lead! lol
Done the same thing i do everyday recently, shopping for a new car.

Bust up with the wife last night, valentines cards exchanged this morning with merely a grunt.
Nearly on speaking terms now; just about to settle down to 'romantic' meal at home and straight to bed followed by a peck on the cheek no doubt ! Modern life eh !

my wifes birthday was day before and we hate it because everything we do for her birthday is 10 times more expensive than usual!
Anyway this year I was working all weekend which really p1ssed her off.
This is mega weird though - we both bought the exact same valentines card for each other.

Dougie is the best curry maker ever! He makes them from scratch and they're delicious :p so we got busy in the kitchen on Saturday night, got some nice beers in and had a chilled out evening in out in front of the telly. I'm easily pleased. Yesterday Reidy came round and we tidied out the garage (we just moved in here so it was full of 'things'), put the mk2 Cav in there, had sliced sausage barms, went and extracted Dougie's GSi and cleaned the Cav SRi and the Belmont. Then we went delivering the chinkies, which I thought would be really busy with Valentines and Chinese New Year but it soon went quiet, so we got our free food and came home £30 better off, not bad for 2 hours' work.
Spent the day welding up the MR2 with a mate while the other half slaved away in the kitchen providing us with food and drink.
Went for a meal last night.
was working 6am till 12pm , misses was on work 7am till 3pm ,
then both of us went to bed for the rest of the day
ill as **** , both beiong sick and having headaches etc .... brilliant day

It's our wedding anniversary on Valentines day so that takes precidence (sp?), but only a card each for the anniversay. We both agree Valentines day is a commercial rip-off bigged up by Hallmark and Italian restaurants so they can charge fortune, so we don't bother.
The wife's sister's 40th birthday was on Valentines day this year so they had a party on the Saturday night. I therefore spent valentines day hungover.
