I broke my left arm on Friday at work, so I am going to have lots of time to think about it, but the shell is a G reg 1 lady owner with 20odd on the clock, plans are full respray, dunno what colour to go for? and to rebuild my x16 again with Jenvey throttle bodies and put that in. Probably have it stripped with Buckets in :)

Sounds good. Colour choice of Nova builds is so important these days imo, something I am debating currently.

Broken arm + at work + injurylaywersforyou.com = money for your Nova

Sell the x16, everyone here agrees that big block Novas are superior in every aspect to small block lol

Welcome

Everyone on corsasport prefers the c20xe as well, I had a GSI with one in and I like the wee small blocks lol

Welcome. That engine looks very decent. Will look forward seeing it in a nova where it belongs.

PS. If you are going to the trouble of respraying a car i would go for something different than white tbh :)

Welcome Linch :)
Nice looking corsa b you had
are you putting the engine from the
corsa in to the nova?

Yes, it will be getting rebuilt, all new parts being a mix of Vaux and SBD stuff, changing from Gotech that I used on the Corsa to something like Omex. I plan on building the engine to a spec where it is reliable enough to take the punishment it will get on a track lol

When it was in the Corsa it was just a standard x16xe which made 160bhp with just the Jenveys and a decat system, was fun :D hopefully going for 190 to 200bhp this time :)

hello and welcome from me too!
oldskool(nova) FTW mate.;)

because im a little biased, my colour choice would be probaly the one of most rarest colours in "calypso red" :)
coloiur choice is hard and will make or break your car so boil it down to say three colours then go from there.

there must of been some additions to the x16xe for it to be running 160bhp?(in standard form!)

Linch

Yeah I will have a long hard think about the colour lads.

Spec of the engine (when it was in the corsa)

1999 x16xe standard cams, pistons ect, with arp bolts
standard exhaust manifold
custom 2.25" stainless exhaust
Jenvey 45mm Throttle Bodies
30 degree inlet manifold
120mm trumpets
Webber FPR
Gotech MFI
158.8 bhp 133ft/lb :)

Previous to that I had dbilas bodies which made 145bhp and 125ft/lb
