Fitting Immobiliser please help

Considering fitting immobiliser myself;
Is this something you'd recommend? is it something i'd be able to work out myself? Anyone done this before how complicated is the job?

A basic immobiliser should be pretty simple; its when you have an alarm with it and various other silly functions that all need wiring in, then the dodgy manufacturer's diagrams on top that cause problems lol
