Hi everyone, I'm having a few starting issues latley, When I go to start the car it turns over slowly like the battery is flat. It does start and when it does the it runs ok, I have checked the battery connections and the negative connection is cracked, I used a voltmeter and without it running I get 12.83v and with it running I get 13.9v so I assume it's charging.

It has a digital dash and a 2.5v6 engine so I pressume it has the 2.5 loom?

Last night after work I went to start it and nothing happened, I put the key in turned it and nothing at all. tried to turn the lights on and nothing???

After wiggling some wires at the back of the dash god knows what lol it seemed to light up then I turned the key and started it up.

I have noticed that when I put the indicators on the dash seems flash in sync with them.

Anyone have any ideas?

I think its dash related I hope lol

Thanks in advance

Just sounds like a knackered battery to me. A battery thats on its way out will still show 13-14v when running, but its the Amps that show its dead. Batteries always die when the weather is cold. I think the dash bit is just a coincidence.

Yeah it works lol its not to accurate. I got the car as is and i'm not happy with the wiring, I'm going to re do a lot of it as there are wires connected to nothing and I don't know why.

I will take the battery out tonight and charge it up to see if it helps it.

Thanks for the info guys
