correct me if am wrong
sr is on carb right? if so i think they are quite hard to get hold off.
1400 sri is also the same engine in the corsa (correct me if am wrong) and is common as muck :)
yeah, 1400sr is carb
not really fancy 1400sri
i would rather the 1600 gsi engine instead

yes they are quite hard to get hold of, even harder is getting hold of the ignition loom
Yep getting quite rare, the stock rod/hot rod boys snap em up.
1300's get snapped up by the autograss class 1 fellas
1400's appear quite often but alot have parted company with their ignition setup as its used for running carbs on gte/gsi lumps

You can run a 1400 on 1200/1300 dizzy and coil if you replace the cam with a kent/piper etc with both types of dizzy drive on the end.

ive got a 1400 running kent ast1 cam, standard 1200 dizzy, coil etc and it runs fine. :thumb:
