Just Techno and House really mate.
I listen to a bit dnb but nothing to hard, and never tried mixing it before. Going to give it a go sometime though.

Any minimal tech? Liking format B at the min.
Also liking quite a bit of the dutch stuff at the mo, afrojacks new one is ace. Bit of a rip off of Boris Duglosch bangkok. :)

Yeh im a huge minimal fan, not really heard anything by format B though. Will have to look into them. A year ago all i was really mixing was minimal, but have moved onto a more tech/tribal house sound. Although iv been buying a lot of minimal tracks again to put another together.
Do you mix yourself??
Edit: In fact just flicked through my tunes and found one by Format B called octopussy.

Afraid i dont mix just love listening. Try and get to see as many DJ's as possible. Just bought my carl cox ticket for WHP. Prydz is supporting which is cool although prefer him as cirez D lol
If i ever sold the nova i would probably buy some cdj's. Cant justify the expense at the min as they wouldnt get used enough.
EDIT: Octopussy is an awesome track. Got the distinctive format B sound. similar to rabbit hunt.

I love madga, have you heard her Fabric CD? Seen her at DC10 in Ibiza as well, one of the best sets iv seen to date.

I was going to try and go for the 1 day they opened last year but couldnt get the time off work. End of an era.
One of the highlights last year was picotto's meganite closing party. Didnt really know what to expect as lot of his earlier stuff was trance but loved it. Very dirty, quirky sounds.

Was actually the beginning of a new era ;) The club opened as a one off, but are planning to open this summer :thumb: They have new plans that the local council are ok with now. I fly out there on the 30th of July for two weeks, so will be heading there a few times :d
I was out this year as well. A dj friend of mine was meant to be playing in the 2nd room at Space for the Tiesto closing party. Unfortunatly it got cancelled because they had to shut the 2nd room, due to not getting enough people in. They only pulled in 5000, sounds a lot but not when Space holds 10,000!
Into the old mixing now Mr Wilson eh? :d

No prob mate! Might get one put together this weekend. Changing my set up from cd decks, going digital and using tecnnics 1210s with traktor pro and a macbook pro. So will be a good chance to try them out.
On that note, if anyone is intersted in 2 pioneer cdj 1000s, give me a shout ;)
