lost a large chunk of my music today on itunes, has this happened to anyone before? if so is there something i can do about it?:thumb:

keep it backed up elsewhere ? ive had it hapeen a few times, its ****in nnoying, especially when its rare/live stuff etc

get a cheap external hard disk, and then make a back up copy of all your files.

Go to your places with the icon with a house on it, then into your music folder/Itunes/Itunes music. All your files you've dragged into the music library should still be in there, it's just the itunes itself that's not updated correctly.

i have to use itunes because of my bloodey iphone and i cant stand it :(

i used to use media player before i got my phone and its so much easier to n use:thumb:

maybe not, but i had a shock in the summer when i left a few vinyls near the window and came home to some curved vinyl:confused: , sorted them out now though;)

Should have backed everything up mate! Kind of your own fault for loosing it all, should of known computers are known to **** up!
Personally i save all my tunes from my macbook onto a external hard drive. Wouldnt be so bothered if it was all illegals. But i buy everything, and have thousands of tunes, too much money to loose!

If you contact them they will add them to the available to download list on your itunes I think, thats what i did when i needed to reboot my pc
