egr question...

cav 1.8 spi, i have the egr valve still bolted up but i have no idea if its doing anything. car has always had a lumpy idle ad occasionally when driving it feels really laggy, regularly serviced, only just 80,000 on the clock's, was wondering if the EGR would have a negative impact on how its running, or if it would majorly affect the car if i took it off

cool, any idea where to get a blanking plate from?

Vauxhall actually do one for a 1800 16v i think, would have to check epc.

Or just cut one out of some alloy plate, bolt the lot down with the egr on top....
