12ST tuning question

Straight to the point guys,

ive got a 12ST engine laying about doin naff all so i thought id tart it up a little bit, then put it back into my antibes.

So my question is...

Whats the best way to get more oomph out of it??

The long and short of it though is a 1.3 Sr cam, twin choke carb and gte twin downpipe with some advance on the dizzy. Unless you want to port, polish Kent cam & twin 40 it...

the 1.2 will never be as good as a 1.3, so find a 1.3 bottom end. you will gain 20hp instantly.

find a 1300 head and cam and a weber twin choke and just get the carb set up well you should get 80 ish bhp

the 1200st & 1300 heads are identical, so no gains there...

with a skim, port & a lairy cam, you might get close to std 1300 power, 70hp , but not 80hp with your mods

Leave it standard 1.2,
buy a 1.3 if you want to tune it :)
