View Full Version : LET inlet -heater matrix pipe prob

right so ive never had this problem before but since taking my let out and putting it back in, the inlet is sitting closer to the matrix pipe, and is kinking it! i have shortened the pipe already, what in the name of jeepers is going on? my mounts are std ones silko'd up and have never had a prob with them b4 and conversion mounts are CAM ones

Common problem really. I cut the heater matrix copper pipe back tight to the bulkhead, and then fitted the jublie clip on the inside of the firewall. It's given me plenty of clearance.

aye mite have a look at that tomoro when its on lift:thumb: cant hurt to raise it a little!

so how did you get the clip on it? behind the dash? looks like the right job, aslong as the dash doesnt have to come outlol

Years (about 10 infact) of watching people convert cars means you can overcome the problems.

There's even things I did that i'd do differently if/when I do it again!
