Mod's please don't move!

Auction ends in 2 hours!

the car was running well and still does drive but is producing alot of white smoke from the exhaust, which gives me an indication that the head gasket has gone, have checked the oil filler cap and and dipstick but no white residure was found, and the oil and water have not mixed from what ive noticed.

Right does this sound like the head or something more ominous?
How difficult is the head gasket to do?

takes few hundred miles for the white sludge to appear in the oil/water mix.

do both if ones gone the other probably not far behind or find a 3.0 and do a conversion

Ive just been looking at that vec, for the BIN price get it and you will break it for a lot more, id say one of the banks gasket couldve gone but not the one with the oil cap so thats why there is no mayo on it :p
