Ive been ill now for 9days after eating a large big tasty meal at 3am a week last sunday morning. Ive been doctors twice and now im going to have to take a nice steamy specimen to them for examination. Ive still got the receipt from Mcdonalds. What are the odds of me making a successful claim against them? Lol

very slim unless you still have a bit of the burger or there have been a number of cases as there defence would be that food poisoning can take upto 72hours to show so could of been anything you had eaten over the previous 3 days, if you do complain they will most likly just send you vouchers for free food so you can get ill again lol

Your chances are slim ton none mate. I worked there whilst I was at college and you took internal temperatures of the burgers at certain points in the day and were constantly monitoring food dates and condition. They do it so people who do try to take them to court have naff all chance as they are seen as an easy target.

You are unlucky if you got food poisoning from beef though. You can eat it raw - like steak tartar. It's most likely pork or chicken. Also when did you eat at home? It's lots more likely that you got it from home on a work top.

True. They did keep telling everyone that it was whole cuts that were used, but o suppose it could just mean the whole head or something... lol

i can tell you that beef is hardly likely to have any germs in it after cooking.. you are more likely to get ill from the salad.

McDonalds advertise as 100% beef in their burgers - apparently they can be heavily fined if its found out there's other stuff in there (including parts of the cow that don't constitute beef!), which is why the likes of them and BK switched to British beef as its a lot easier to guarantee the burgers are proper beef.

I love sausages and want to know what's in them, but don't at the same time. Although my mate always says its lips and arsehole.

british beef is just uber cheap.. you guy's have been out of the market for a few years. we had a few truckloads from the UK about a year ago for silly prices.

we debone etc, i dont do the small stuff for the supermarket, so i dont know supermarket prices, i only know dead cows are cheap lol

ass is one of the best parts of meat there is.. very pricy too.

all left overs are sausagemeat. so there parts ass, rib, leg, neck, shank meat, fatty meat parts the butcher doesnt want, decoloured parts that the butcher doesnt want (mixed into it so it doesnt show) etc etc.

no heads of hooves (there already removed before the there deboned), but small pieces of every part of the cow go in sausage meat.
