i drove a car at work today, and thought it was quite good, plenty of shove, direct steering (lacking in feel a bit but quick and weighty) and rather funky looking.


it was a new shape Micra 1.5 DCi (turbo diesel) 5 door

They should all be scrapped.... ever noticed most micras are either driven by old people with a death wish, or young people who seem to not have a clue!!!
Oh and pretty much all have dents or scratches on them! lol

I used to drive these all the time for work. They go well IMO. Proper birds car though, the 160SR almost has enough man points to make driving it OK though.

The electric steering is crap, takes a few seconds to come alive when you turn the key (or the knob) lol

My mam has a 998cc K11 Micra. It's faster than my 1.2 Nova :cry: and actually not that bad to drive, although some decent suspension wouldn't go amiss.

the micra is awfull my dads mrs has 1 also to change the stereo you have to take half the dash out fecking pain in the rectum

its all bolted from behind so top of dash has tocome off then all heater vents and switches have to be removed then you can un bolt the stereo from the housing then a reverse of this to put it back

my dad has a nissan quashquai thing with the dci 1.5 in it. it goes bloody well for a big car. in a small hatch i bet its nippy as.
shame the micra looks like a growth.

Things move on. The chassis has decades more development knowledge in it than the Nova etc.

My mother has a current-spec 1.6 five door Ford Focus and the handling is awesome!

nissans are a guilty pleasure sort of car......you never want to admit enjoying them.. I thrashed a rental almera 1.6 for a weekend in ireland a couple of years back it was good fun.....but it looked shoite

jump start...... according to the Renault dealership should have had the sidelights on to make sure that they absorbed the surge............ as it turns out when you tow a Renault they have no brakes with no juice!!

I work on inspection at nissan, probably inspected it at work, it will fall apart lol. in all seriousness though nissan have pulled their finger out a bit lately and started building better cars. quite fancy a qashqai as a runaround. you seen the new nissan juke yet? it was unveiled yesterday. theyre doing a 1.6 turbo model with 190bhp

it is 1300 but i dont think it is turbo'd
The 1300 in the k11 micras are brilliant
highly tunable
