I don't doubt the procedure exists mind. Could than not just be distortion from the disc, maybe it's bevelled? :/

[EDIT] ........Assuming this is even real, the place where your face connects to your jaw is right under where that lens is. The height of the lens would push the neighboring face meat up. That's what gives her mouth that funny upturned grimace. Faces aren't rigid but teeth and jaws are, so it appears that the teeth are too low.........
