Looking at buying phase 2 but with so many available not sure whos or which chips to choose. Are they all the same? Should I steer clear of Ebay specials? Is there much variation on price? What FPR and injectors should I be looking at running, just had my standard yellows seviced are these up to the job?

Thanks for the help in advanced

Basically, they are the "best" chips to use on a std kkk turbo. You wont get any more out of the standard turbo. Beardy used to sell them, not sure if he still does.

You are best off looking on vauxsport for what pressure/injectors to use

Evo 5 chips will mean really straining the standard injectors as it runs at 4.5 bar fuel pressure. Phase 2 runs at 3.5 bar fuel pressure so bit more safety margin with standard injectors.

You might have a buyer for that 4.1 reg you have Lee if I go for evo 5

Fit some saab reds and drop the pressure.

You will need get it to someone with a wideband lambda setup so they can set the fuel pressure to make sure its getting enough fuel under boost

Saab reds are slightly wrong impedence for the Motronic and some people have had running issues with it. I fitted my adjustable reg today and car idles much nicer now.

The earth in the boot is causing me major issues so going to move the battery back to the front. Tested with jump leads today and with it there it starts perfectly.

why not just add a couple more earths in the bay lee, save moving your battery !

Something about the battery doesn't like being in the back, can't seem to get a constant good earth in the back for some reason.
