brand new or 2nd hand? can't see a 2nd hand rack being much, they're the same on every nova ever built, could even take the chance to fit a corsa epas rack or something if you have the skills for it

stick a wanted add up for a steering rack with rods, or even just ask for the rods themselves as you can remove them from the rack, 5 min job, give it a bashlol

They're only about £7 for a new arm from the motor factors. Or take the whole rack off and get a reconditioned ones (new arms, gators...) for about £20 - much easier than changing an arm.

Thats obviously had a thwack on something, and to do that to the track rod, it must have been a big thwack. Youll need to check the TCA and tie bar, as well as all the welds where the tie bar mounts to the front panel.

TCA is the track control arm (normally known as a Lower Arm), its the big wishbone that the hub mounts to.

The tie bar is the long rod which is mounted to the TCA and bolts to the front panel of the car.

If you're not sure whether they are damaged, remove them from both sides and compare them.
