Up for grabs is probably one of the best cars I've owned... I intend to be completely honest with this as I can as I believe this car has absolutely nothing to hide.
It's a 1989 Vauxhall Nova 3 door saloon 1.0litre engine, in very good condition for its age but it isn't (as you'd expect) perfect, however in some aspects it is. The car has a genuine 20,000 miles on the clock backed up with MOT's and service history, even has the original books and 2 keys.
The car has no rust worth even mentioning as the photos can prove... The car is all original except for the following...
It has been lowered 40mm on springs (car was very high on standard springs not a pretty sight!), the head unit wires have been rewired to ISO so any head unit can be fitted and I've put an exhaust tip, as you can see it isn't over the top and just looks better than a pea shooter exhaust.
As you can tell from the photos the previous elderly gentlemen before has tried tipping in the slight scuffs it has come across over the years, not a very good job but it doesn't bother me...I was informed the car has been family owned since new and has only got 3 owners on the logbook (all within the family). There has been 2 holes cut out in the parcel shelf for speakers which once again I didn't do and I believe the grandson of the gentlemen did this but it's only what I've been told by the previous owner. I've carefully maintained the car whilst owning it, coolant/anti-freeze, water, and oil has all been well looked after, and I've spent many cold Sunday mornings washing, waxing and cleaning the car, I even wax the bare metal inside the car and the inside of the boot, sad I know but I truly believe a car like this should be looked after without fail. The Nova comes with 6 months tax and 10months MOT, I'd just like to point out, the only advisories the car has ever had has been tyres and the front cracked number plate! This car truly has got some potential to the right person, either to leave it standard or change the engine etc... I wish I had the money to keep this and bring it to its full potential but I don't, I'm only 19years old (not a boy racer) and know this car has got a lot to offer. If the new owner decides to keep this car as it is, you'll find it's very economical and cheap to run and is extremely reliable.
I have even got the original owners manual and Haynes manual that came with the car if the new owner wants this. The only way is to see for yourself so feel free to ask come and view I've keep the engine bay as it was when I first got it, would come up immaculate if it were to get jet washed but I don't want to risk it in case I get water where I shouldn't!
Now here are the bad bits:
* Obviously the touch up that has been done isn't a pretty sight.
* Driver door lock (works absolutely fine) but is a bit wobbly.
* Front numberplate cracked.
* VERY slight dent around the drivers front wing, nothing major at all.
* Passenger headlight wobbles a bit but not serious. (Clips?)
* The passenger roof interior grab handle has broken due to my friend grabbing it as he got out!
