Wrong!

You CAN use the lower inlet off the x16xe Corsa Sport as these are what people use when fitting the mantzel/eBay powerboxes.
IMO I wouldn't bother getting a standard upper inlet as they are very restricted for air, get one of the ones of eBay.

As long as you have the C16xe wiring loom then you should be able to fit everything.

A couple of pictures. 16xe_Chris's rally engine with aftermarket powerbox.

And mine with the Mantzel powerbox.

Yes you should be able to mate if the bottom half fits then the top half must surely but dont forget you will need the loom ecu and ign transponder and key from the donor vehicle to make it run.

/\ aslong as he has the c16xe loom there is no need for the key/ transponder etc

Ah right though he may have needed the x16 loom with using the x16 inlet and stuff am not that clued up on these engines.

I would say the main issue is if the X16 & C16 tps's are the same.
Deffo use a 'powerbox' upper inlet though. Std stuff is very restrictive.

so my c16xe loom will fit both parts of the x16xe inlet manifold and throttle body?

i ran a x16xe on a complete c16xe loom, you have to change the knock and water temp sensor over

ive got a c16xe engine and loom so why would i have to change the water temp sensor and knock sensor? i need to know if an x16xe throttle body and inlet will work with my loom. cheers in advance

because the ones on the x16xe have a diff plug on the sensor,

yes the inlet and TB will work
