anybody no what these are:confused: and where they go on my e16se .as i did not take engine to bits i dont have a clue:eek:

the bottom one is your icv which bolts to the left near the cam pully wheel were the manual fuel pump would bolt to.
As for the other i think it bolts to the bottom of the inlet manifold as that part has the pick up for the temp gauge on the dash aswell.

cheers got the ivc done but the tempture thingy lines up with two bolt holes under the inlet so i think ur right .but it then blocks off the fuel lines from the fuel rail pipes?

if i bolt on there it blocks the metal fuel pipes coming of the fuel rail?what am i doin wrong?where does the pipe out the end go heater matrix?

Turn it over then... It does go on the back of the inlet. One hose goes to the water outlet on back of the inlet & the other is to the matrix IIRC.

heres some pic doin ma head in now lol.found out where it goes .tried turning did not work its prob something simple that a just cant see

It shouldnt be in the way of the fuel lines mate, is the rail bolted down properly?

just bloody bend the fuel lines slightly,

jezz all these young ones, if it dont fit, ill cry,

****ing make it fit lol

am no that daft its hard against the fuel pipe .whats the wee plastic tubes comin out the end for ?where do they go .The joys of buying a engine in bits .and no its not in the manual

honestly don't think it belong to that engine, if it does i ain't got it on mine.

If its the E16se engine one with airflow meter it is used, if i remember one of the plastic pipes slide onto it, then to the egr valve mate, not 100% on the other,
